G. Eric Kuskey
G. Eric Kuskey has been in the Licensing and Brand Management business since 1990. He co-founded Creative Brands Group (CBG) in 2001. CGB was a Brand Management, Development and Licensing agency, focusing primarily on artist, designer and celebrity brands. In 2010 Kuskey started Catalyst Creative Ventures. Catalyst represented a diverse roster of celebrities and athletes, including Heidi Klum and Kevin Garnett. While at Catalyst, Mr. Kuskey was also the author of the “Flower Beauty” line of products (in conjunction with CAA), headlined by Drew Barrymore and currently sold at Wal-Mart. Mr. Kuskey was President of Licensing at SKECHERS, managing a large group of licensees and strategic partners selling SKECHERS branded product in over 100 countries. Mr. Kuskey was most recently EVP and Managing Director of Celebrity Brands for Global Brands Group, a member of The Fung Group. He opened the Los Angeles office in 2015 for GBG, building the team to manage the global licensing business for Jennifer Lopez and to bring new talent to the company. Mr. Kuskey is also the author of Billion Dollar Painter (Weinstein Publishing), and an Executive Producer for Billion Dollar Painter the movie, currently in development.
Michael Greenberg is a 30 year veteran and a distinguished visionary in the footwear industry. He co-founded SKECHERS and has played a vital role in expanding SKECHERS from a niche product into an award-winning and diversified lifestyle and performance brand know around the world. Now a $3.6 billion-dollar powerhouse, SKECHERS is the second-largest footwear company in the United States. As a result of numerous license agreements, SKECHERS also offers branded apparel, bags, watches, eyewear and additional merchandise.
Mr. Greenberg’s success with SKECHERS has carried over into several other business ventures. He has been a real estate developer for nearly 25 years. At SKECHERS he opened over 1400 retail locations around the world. He is one of the co-founders of the luxury boutique hotel brand – Shade Hotels. The consummate entrepreneur with a magic touch was instrumental in expanding a notable Southern California-based pizza company, Fresh Brothers. He also is a lead investor and sits on the board of directors for Rock & Brews – a fast growing chain of restaurants where he plays a strategic role in developing the business internationally.
Recognized as a leading business innovator, civic leader and philanthropist, Michael Greenberg also founded SKECHERS Foundation and the annual SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk, which has raised over $7 million dollars for children with special needs and education since its inception in 2009. Beyond SKECHERS, Mr. Greenberg also helped found The Friendship Foundation, a non-profit mentoring organization and The Harrison Greenberg Memorial Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to restoring Manhattan Beach’s Roundhouse Aquarium in honor of his son, Harrison Greenberg.
